On March 2nd, the Qingdao Alumni Association of Ocean University of China, together with the Senior Experts Association, visited SEAWIN BIOTECH GROUP and co-hosted a distinctive Alumni Entrepreneurs Group New Year's Visit. The event was designed to strengthen the exchange and cooperation among alumni and contribute to the development of their alma mater.
The alumni group visited and conducted research at the SEAWIN BIOTECH GROUP's High-Tech District headquarters R&D base, touring the science and technology exhibition hall, export product display room, Agricultural Science Institute laboratory, technical center laboratory, and science and technology achievements experience hall, gaining an in-depth understanding of SEAWIN BIOTECH's achievements in enterprise technology R&D and industrial development.
Shan Junwei, the Chairman of SEAWIN BIOTECH GROUP and a 1984 alumnus of Ocean University of China, delivered a detailed presentation titled "Growing Upwards: The Unchanged Amidst Change," highlighting the company's development. For over 20 years, SEAWIN BIOTECH has been dedicated to the marine biotech industry, establishing four business segments: "new marine bio-fertilizers, functional marine bio-products, marine environmental protection services, and marine health food supply chain." The company currently operates four production bases: the Jiaozhou Production Base, Rushan Winsea Production Base, Rongcheng RenTai Production Base, and the Qingdao High-Tech District Marine Biotech Products Industrial Base, and has constructed three ocean-going environmental service vessels with a total displacement of 22,000 tons. SEAWIN BIOTECH consistently drives high-quality enterprise development through scientific and technological innovation, owning several tech innovation platforms including the "National Green Algae Research and Application Technology Center," and its technical center laboratory has been accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS).
The successful organization of this alumni entrepreneurs' group meeting has not only strengthened the connections and cooperation among alumni but also injected new vitality into the development of our alma mater. With the joint efforts of the alumni, Ocean University of China is certain to achieve even more splendid accomplishments in its future development.
