On November 25th, LEILI Sargassum Enzymatic Extraction Biotimulants-ALGA 600, successfully obtained the EU CE certificate according to EU Regulation EU 2019/1009, with the categery of PFC 6 (B) and registration number of FB 009788 001. This indicates that Chinese algae biostimulant products have been the first officially approved and certified in the EU market, laying a solid foundation for the company's further expansion in the international market.

Biostimulants have been developed for a hundred years. Until 5 June 2019, the EU issued regulation (EU) 2019/1009, lays down provisions on fertilizing products, which officially enters into force on 16 July 2022, providing a unified registration standard for biostimulants. As a biostimulant registration management category, PFC 6 has put forward higher requirements for product compliance.

In order to meet EU’ strict assessment standards, Leili has carried out official experiments on more than 12 crops in three major categories such as wheat, sunflower, soybeans, cucumbers, tomatoes, pepper, Olive tree, cherry, apples,  grape, etc covering a variety of application methods such as seed treatment, foliar spraying, and drip irrigation, comprehensively demonstrating the safety and effectiveness of the product.

ALGA600, a category representative of the Chinese algal biostimulant, has since been labeled with CE mark. It indicates that the product has passed the corresponding conformity assessment procedures and the manufacturer's declaration of conformity, meeting the standards of biostimulants in terms of safety, health, environmental protection and hygiene in Europe union, and it got an entrance ID to be sold in the whole European Union market.

With ALGA600 obtaining CE certification, the layout of Leili Group in the EU market will be accelerated.
